The Waterborn Junior League Galas aims to build camaraderie amongst junior swimmers and parents. The objective of the galas is to encourage competition for junior swimmers in a friendly environment. The gala series combines registered swimmers from clubs and non-registered swimmers from schools. The Junior League Series offers an opportunity for school swimmers to compete as individuals in a competitive environment, without having to be a club member.

The Waterborn Junior League Gala Series receives tremendous support from many Gauteng Clubs. The Waterborn Swimming Club hosts the series and manages events during each season. The galas are staged at the Curro Aurora Aquatics Centre (indoor, heated 25m pool).
